Microfilm Digitization and Document Imaging

Ever thought about the advantages of digital storage?
Typically, a single CD-Rom contains the data equivalent of five drawers of a standard file cabinet.
We can scan both paper* documents and microfilms, and convert them to high resolution, durable digital images, for electronic storage and retrieval. — *Up to 11.5x18 inches

Character Recognition: OCR, ICR, and OMR

Any paper form with predictable data position can be efficiently scanned and indexed.Typed characters are processed with Optical Character Recognition (OCR).Written characters are treated with Image Character Recognition (ICR). Marks (as for checkboxes) are matched with Optical Mark Recognition (OMR).
These recognition processes allow, at the end of the digitization process, comparison of indexed scanned images against a database. Errors caught are checked, and corrected or reported to you.

Barcode Recognition

Barcode Recognition is yet another way to efficiently index and track information, in concurrence with, for example, mailing services.
Aside from standard barcodes, we have the capabilities to process color barcodes and 2D barcodes (such as PDF417, Maxicode and DataMatrix).

Data Extraction and Integration

Data Extraction consists of one or more of the following: manual indexation, automated ICR, OCR, OMR, or barcode recognition.
Data Integration happens when indexed files are matched against a database, static or regularly updated, of various formats: Microsoft Access, Text, Laserfiche, etc.
We use Kofax, which supports integration with major imaging software packages.
In addition, we are able in some cases to deliver a customized viewer, standalone or web application.

CD Rom Mastering and Duplication

Digitized files are delivered on CD's, which can be labeled in black and white or full color. Our CD Duplication services can handle both small and large quantities in a highly cost-efficient manner.
Working in tandem with the printing division, our Digital Services Division can provide a wide range of CD packaging options.
