FTP Tutorial

Welcome to the FTP Tutorial.
This page will guide through the process of sending us your files using our website.

Please find a list of related links at the bottom of this page.

Enter your user name in lowercase, and your password.
Click the submit button to login.

If you have not received a user name and password, please contact your Customer Service Representative.

Once logged in, pick up to four files to be uploaded.

If you have more than four files to upload, you can either follow the upload procedure as many times as needed, or use an file archiver, such as WinZip for Windows or Stuffit for Macintosh.

For more details on where to get and how to use these two products, please consult our FTP Guidelines page.

Once you have selected the files you wish to upload, click the Submit button, and the file transfer will start.

Depending on the amount of files and their size, the upload may take some time. This is normal.

Please leave your browser window opened, as closing it will cancel the file transfer.

If you decide to cancel your file transfer for any reason, click the Abort button to start over. Closing your browser window will also cancel the file transfer.

Notice that the progress bar in your browser is colored; this means that even though you have not changed page, the file upload is in progress.

Depending on the amount of files and their size, the color progress bar may reach the end of its container before the end of the actual transfer. This is normal, and usually happens only with very large files.

The file transfer is a function of too many variables to be reliably measured by your browser.

Once your files have been successfully uploaded, you will get a notification for each of them. (If you used an archive, it will confirm the archive name, not the files contained in the archive.)

After a successful upload, please let your CSR know that the files were sent.

Enter optional instructions or comments, your email address, and click the stamp Send button.

Thank you for following this tutorial. If you have any questions or comments, please contact your CSR or use the contact form of this website, choosing "Website" in the "Concerns" dropdown menu.
